[1] There will be no Folk Dance Brunswick event this coming Friday, September 4. (Barbara and Marty are on vacation, and Barbara has the better-grade zoom account that we use for larger groups, longer meetings, and better audio–video synchronization.) Instead, we’ll meet on Friday, September 11, and then again on Friday, September 25. I’ll send you the invitations links once they become available.

[2] Meanwhile, however, the team at Mainewoods Dance Camp has created a one-day virtual celebration instead of this year’s actual camp. It will be held on Sunday, September 6 — and you’re invited! It will include….

[a] An afternoon workshop featuring six of next year’s teachers, each previewing a dance they’ll be teaching at Mainewoods in 2021

[b] An evening “25/25” dance party celebrating Mainewood’s 25 years with 25 favorite dances led by teachers and featured dancers (including some of us from FDB!)

[c] A late-night binge night for dancing into the wee hours
