We had a nice assortment of dances pulled together by Ed. Donna introduced to Brazilian dances, Ed reviewed Ma Navu, Mary taught Neda Voda Naliva, and Alison kindly reviewed (again) Gavotte d’Honneur. We are finally starting to feel that dance in our feet.

Three lovely new Israeli dances were taught by Lisa. We’ll practice them later this month. Sandansko Oro, Ratevka, and Gavotte d’Honneur were reviewed.

Alison and Alan programmed a varied program of great dances. They mixed in some of Natasha’s favorites to thank her for contributing so much to our group. Alan taught Sandansko Oro. Alison taught Gavotte d’Honneur, not revealing until the end that we learned it at 80% speed. Whew! Alison reviewed Siamsa Bierte and we are starting to feel the dance. Mary unearthed the old-timey Ratevka. Leon still has to count out Jeitili for us, but we’re getting it, really we are.
